Eurotax informs you that the alcohol excise duty rate in Czech Republic will rise as of January 1, 2025.
The excise duty rate on alcohol should increase over a three-year period, by 10% in 2024 and 2025 and then by 5% in 2026. This would mean that the new excise duty rate on spirits will be CZK 391 per liter.
The rates related to the other products should remain unchanged. Please find the summary in the table below.
